Six year old Donald is given a water pistol. A BIG water pistol. A new, one of a kind 'Lightening Rapid-Fire Drench Gun' (as used by the Australian Bush Fire Brigade). This is not going to end well.A short, fun little story. One reviewer for this book said, “This would be best as an illustrated book. It would work brilliantly for story telling." And the illustrations will be finished soon. The reviewer also said, "This is ingenious, genius, unpredictable, anti-establishmentarianistic, non-PC, funny, fun, descriptive, exciting, enthralling, captivating." However, they also said, "It is also cruel, dark, nihilistic, sadistic, encouraging of violence, anarchic, brutal, lacking in any ideals.”Well. I love a reaction, so this is why Squish needs to be published. In Donald's defence, I don't believe he is nasty, nor do I believe he is cruel. He does some things that probably aren't a good idea in hindsight, but who does things with hindsight anyway? We learn by our mistakes. Donald might as well.
